FoamBlocker controls excess frothing or foaming of samples during homogenization
|Mouse Skin (300 µL RIPA buffer)||Mouse Lungs (600 µL RIPA buffer)|
|Mouse tissues were homogenized in 300 µL (GREEN Lysis kit) or 600 µL (NAVY Lysis kit) of RIPA
buffer with or without FoamBlocker. Note the significant reduction in foaming in the presence of
FoamBlocker is compatible with gDNA isolation from mouse tissues
|Mouse Kidney||Mouse Liver|
|Mouse Kidney and Liver samples were homogenized in the lysis buffer with or without FoamBlocker.
Genomic DNA was isolated from the lysates and analyzed for their integrity. Both OD260/280 and OD260/230
ratios were comparable between the samples.
FoamBlocker is compatible with protein downstream applications
|Mouse Brain samples were homogenized using PINK Lysis kit in 300 µL of RIPA buffer with or without FoamBlocker. Lysates were processed for Western blotting and Coomassie blue staining.||(GAPDH) 39kDa|
