Stainless Steel Beads – 5.6 mm diameter, RNase Free
5.6 mm RNase-free stainless steel homogenization beads (density is 7.9 g/cc) with a UFO shape in a 10 mL package. Recommended for the homogenization of most soft or tough samples including fibrous plant samples. These beads feature a cutting edge to provide extra homogenization capability to particularly elastic or fibrous samples. Can be used to create cell suspensions from tissue samples.
