Break Samples Down
Orange bead lysis kits consist of microcentrifuge tubes pre-filled with large stainless steel beads selected for breaking samples down without complete lysis. Uses include: particle size reduction (such as during nanoparticle or liposome manufacture), dry grinding of grains into powder, disrupting tissue structures to release viable bacteria or create cell suspensions and organelle isolation. These unique application kits provide convenience, quality and repeatability difficult to duplicate with manual dispensing of beads into tubes).
Available DNase/RNase-free in packs of 50 or 250 for 1.5 mL snap-cap or screw-cap tubes.
1.5 mL RINO® Orange Kits
Screw-cap RINO tubes are strong, durable, and contain a rubber “O-ring” in the cap to provide an extra layer of protection against sample loss. These 1.5 mL kits can be used in the Bullet Blender® 24 Gold+ (BB24AUP), Bullet Blender Storm Pro (BT24M), Bullet Blender Lite (BT12LT) and former 1.5 mL tube models (including previous Storm and Gold models) equipped with a screw-cap contact plate.
1.5 mL screw-cap kits can also be used in Bullet Blender 5E Pro (BT5E) and Bullet Blender 5E Gold+ (BB5EAUP) with the appropriate tube adapter.
1.5 mL Snap-cap Orange Kits
Snap-cap tubes are made of high quality polypropylene and are very easy to open and close. These 1.5 mL kits can be used in the Bullet Blender® 24 Gold+ (BB24AUP), Bullet Blender Storm Pro (BT24M), Bullet Blender Lite (BT12LT) and former 1.5 mL tube models (including previous Storm and Gold models) equipped with a snap-cap contact plate.
1.5 mL snap-cap kits can also be used in Bullet Blender 5E Pro (BT5E) and Bullet Blender 5E Gold+ (BB5EAUP) with the appropriate tube adapter.
All colors of snap-cap kits have red silicone plugs inserted to keep the beads in place during shipping.
