"It's a very useful device for making tissue lysates. We no longer use sonication for DNA, RNA and protein preparation from multiple tissue samples."

The Bullet Blender can homogenize the toughest of samples, yet preserve DNA and RNA in tact. It does not heat up samples beyond about a dozen degrees, and the Gold models actually keep your samples at 4C. This protects samples from degrading, while other homogenizers do not provide convection cooling, so samples can more easily degrade.
