Ideal for Larger, Soft samples
Red bead lysis kits consist of tubes that are pre-filled with a mix of zirconium oxide beads selected for high yields and efficient homogenization of larger soft samples (like spleen, liver and brain). They are highly resistant to temperature and most laboratory reagents. These kits provide convenience, quality, cost-effectiveness and repeatability that’s difficult to duplicate with manual dispensing of beads into tubes.
Available DNase/RNase-free or non-sterile, in packs of 50 or 250 (1.5 mL snap-cap or screw-cap tubes), or packs of 20 or 100 (5 mL snap-cap tubes).
1.5 mL RINO® Red Kits
Screw-cap RINO tubes are strong, durable, and contain a rubber “O-ring” in the cap to provide an extra layer of protection against sample loss. These 1.5 mL kits can be used in the Bullet Blender® 24 Gold+ (BB24AUP), Bullet Blender Storm Pro (BT24M), Bullet Blender Lite (BT12LT) and former 1.5 mL tube models (including previous Storm and Gold models) equipped with a screw-cap contact plate.
1.5 mL screw-cap kits can also be used in Bullet Blender 5E Pro (BT5E) and Bullet Blender 5E Gold+ (BB5EAUP) with the appropriate tube adapter.
1.5 mL Snap-cap Red Kits
Snap-cap tubes are made of high quality polypropylene and are very easy to open and close. These 1.5 mL kits can be used in the Bullet Blender® 24 Gold+ (BB24AUP), Bullet Blender Storm Pro (BT24M), Bullet Blender Lite (BT12LT) and former 1.5 mL tube models (including previous Storm and Gold models) equipped with a snap-cap contact plate.
1.5 mL snap-cap kits can also be used in Bullet Blender 5E Pro (BT5E) and Bullet Blender 5E Gold+ (BB5EAUP) with the appropriate tube adapter.
All colors of snap-cap kits have red silicone plugs inserted to keep the beads in place during shipping.
5 mL Snap-cap Red Kits
Snap-cap tubes are made of high quality polypropylene and are very easy to open and close. These 5 mL kits can be used in the Bullet Blender® 5E Pro (BT5E) and Bullet Blender 5E Gold+ (BB5EAUP). They can also be used with former 5 mL tube Bullet Blender models (excluding the discontinued 5 mL screw-cap instrument).
All colors of snap-cap kits have red silicone plugs inserted to keep the beads in place during shipping.
