A Kit that Works with Other Homogenizer Brands
The 2 mL Screw-Cap Lysis Kits are compatible with most other brands of tissue homogenizers. The kit is designed for homogenizing a variety of tissue samples using zirconium oxide beads.
Soft Tissue – LYSP2S and LYSMB2D Bead Lysis Kits. These kits are designed for homogenizing soft tissue samples such as brain. These kits contain 2 mL screw cap tubes filled with zirconium oxide beads.
LYSP2S. The LYSP2S bead lysis kit is equivalent to the Precellys CK14 and the Omni 19-627 kits. RNase & DNase free. (Formerly part number LYSKITPC1)
LYSMB2D. The LYSMB2D bead lysis kit is equivalent to the MP Bio Lysing Matrix D kit.
Tough Tissue – LYSP2T Bead Lysis Kit. This kit is designed for homogenizing tough,hard tissue samples such as muscle, heart and bone. These kits contain 2 mL screw cap tubes filled with stainless steel beads.
LYSP2T. The bead lysing kit LYSP2T is equivalent to the Precellys CK28 and Omni 19-628 tough tissue lysis kits. RNase & DNase free. (Formerly part number LYSKITPC2)
Microogranisms – LYSP2B and LYSP2M Bead Lysis Kits
LYSP2B. Designed for disrupting bacteria cell cultures, the LYSP2B bead lysing kit is equivalent to the Precellys CK01 kit. The kit is made up of 2 mL screw cap tubes filled with high density, inert, ceramic beads. RNase & DNase free. (Formerly LYSKITPC01)
LYSP2M. Designed for disrupting tough microorganism cultures, the LYSP2M bead lysing kit is equivalent to the Precellys VK01 and VK05 kits. The kit is made up of 2 mL screw cap tubes filled with glass beads. RNase & DNase free. (Formerly LYSKITPG01 and LYSKITPG05)
