Our reliable 210 series RoboRockerâ„¢ models (210, 212, and 214) can be trusted to keep your samples and cultures rocking at a steady and consistent pace.  Available in a variety of configurations, this model combines the most useful features to fit the widest range of applications.

These rockers are highly resistant to CO2 environments and operate from 4°C – 40°C making them perfect for use in a cell culture incubator or cold room. The RoboRocker is being adopted for use in many Microphysiological Systems (MPS) where precise control of fluids is required — particularly in high-throughput settings where the use of pumps become impractical. Specific applications include:

  • Microfluidic devices where cells need to grow under shear stress (such as for blood vessels)
  • On growth plates where cells of neighboring wells need to communicate via chemical signals
  • Where treatments need to be provided to cells at precise times
  • Where media needs to be kept fresh and waste products need to be washed away from cultured cells

  • Maximum Travel Speed: 30 deg/sec (e.g. -15° to +15° in 1 second).
  • Minimum Travel Speed (in regular mode): 0.1 deg/sec.
  • Minimum Travel Speed (in ultra slow mode – model 212 and 214 only): 300 minutes per degree (e.g. 50 hours to travel 10 degrees).
